The connection between perfume and books : when Frédéric Malle created les Editions de Parfums in 1999, he was inspired by the model of literary publishing houses. He himself selects the best perfumers of our time, whom he considers to be authors in their own right, and offers them total freedom to compose original and modern perfumes. Together, they push back the barriers of their profession and make perfume a piece of art, signed by its author.
